NotifyChicago is a new city service that provides residents with recorded telephone messages, text messages and/or e-mail alerts on various emergency and non-emergency situations taking place throughout Chicago.
cAlert
cAlert is the University of Chicago’s electronic emergency notification system. This system will enable authorized University officials to reach members of the University community through mechanisms other than regular University email and telephones. The new system can transmit short notifications by email to any outside email address, by text message to a cell phone, or by voice message to an off-campus telephone.

A community concern can be defined as a concern or issue brought to the attention of the Chicago Police Department by residents of the community. It should be criminal, quality of life or neighborhood disorder in nature, which affects more than one person and should be addressed by the police, city services and the community.
